The weekend of the 15th of september, the OWWT came back again to Italy, exactly at the amazing lake of Noli that was the place choosen to host the different races of the 3rd stage of the Italian Open Water Tour.

A brilliant morning awaked  with perfect water and weather conditions. Slowly, as the sun rised up, swimmers from everywhere started to install around the race zone, most of them accompanied by their team mates.

The race schedule started with the Hard Swim, a 7km challenge, that was dominated by Igor Piovesan (1h34’37”) followed by Daniele Savia e Filippo Marchini.

The female race as in Monate and Maccagno, Camilla Montalbetti  with an amazing finish time of 1h39’53” got the 1st place followed by Lara Gheraldini  2nd and Jane Hoag 3rd.

But the morning didn’t finished after this race, and it was followed by the Smile Swim (1,9km) and the espectacular Team Race (3x900m) that made the delight of all assistants.

Once again, the IOWT proved why their events are Top Class, and also why they are part of the OWWT.

Outstanding atmosphere, unique locations and world class organization, what else?

The next week the OWWT will finish its 2019’s Edition at Greece at the Spetses Mini Marathon, one of the most amazing swim races all over Europe, in an unique spot, object of desire of any open water swimmer.
